Anybody ever use ButcherBox?

So I figured to try it out last month and didn’t know it was a subscription service. I’m normally good about setting an alert to remind me to cancel. I received a $200 charge in the middle of the night at 12:45AM yesterday. I was up at 4:30AM, saw the charge and then found out that there’s no way to cancel your order online. You can only cancel your subscription service, but this didn’t include the order being processed. Their customer service conveniently doesn’t open until 9:00AM. I called at 9:05AM to cancel and was given an excuse that it was already in the hands of the shipper. The shipping history shows that it didn’t ship out until 7:00PM. There’s no way a perishable product is going to sit with a shipper for that long. I plan on disputing the charge and enjoying some free, juicy meat (nh). Has this happened to any other Getbiggers? If not, do not order from ButcherBox.

I use the service routinely.

Their customer services is excellent - they give you replacements for anything if you don't like the quality (only happened with one product in years).  All the beef is grass fed, seafood all wild caught (salmon / shrimp)

So stop driving my cost up with them and own your mistake rambone and eat your food.

And, if you would have come to me first, you would have saved $50 and got two free lbs of ground beef and a pound of bacon free every order.

But, it's not rip off if you want high quality food delivered to you and have the convenience of not going to the store.  Personal time saved has a value as well. All that factors in.  I go to Costco every other week, and never buy meat there, and rarely have to go to the supermarket.

Do you not believe there is a difference in quality and taste between wild caught and farmed seafood?
