Yes Methhad Mike had a gut. If you look at some pics from the 1979 olympia Mike was walking around with his gut hanging out as bad as the guys are now. Oh he could control it when he needed to. In fact In 1980 The great Arnold even told Methead he had a big gut and Mike got upset. And then thru out the contest Arnold would smile at Methead and he would get pissed and forget to hold his gut in and it fell all over the place. Arnold was a master at fucking with people. Two things that caused his gut to do that. He was using a lot of drugs and also taking gh from dead people ( yes they used it then and I wonder if that had any effect on him losing his mind later? Because it wasn't screened for diseases etc and these guys would still use it) and also he was the 2nd bb to use insulin ( tim belknap did but he was a diabetic) Methead learned from Tim on how to use it and why etc ( oh wait Mike was a "genius" lmao) Plus Methead drank a lot of booze. He was an addict and was addicted to everything EXCEPT working out! That he did briefly and infrequently and that is the ONE thing he SHOULD have gotten addicted to.
