My actual take on this...
The women in the video are not a normal Thai woman - they are Thai hookers. Slight difference.
Looks like she's on a long term lease with her elder western 'boyfriend'. There is a legion of desperate old fella's in Thailand looking to 'rescue' a Thai hooker from her fate and locking her in to a long term sponsorship.
The way this works is: man meets girl, man falls in love with girl, man starts paying girl to stay out of the bar when his holiday finishes.
The way this also works is: girl meets man, inconveniently has to go work in another bar when he goes back home (getting caught impedes the 'salary'), girl crosses fingers that this schmuck doesn't take his vacation at the same time ad one of the other schmucks sponsoring her.
Most of the bargirls in Thailand have boyfriends/husbands and lot of them have kids. They aren't in the game to like westerners, they are in the game to fleece as much money as possible before gravity kicks in. The guy might think he's in a relationship but looks can be deceiving.
