Rap is forbidden in my home. Is it on yours? So far my kids like the sound of metal, even some extreme metal, though I don’t play it around them too much.

My uncle’s friend broke his 20-something-year-old daughter’s phone because of disobeying repeated requests to not play rap. I assume he has high standards and didn’t want his daughter poorly socialized and eventually dying or being abused because of it.

It's the only role models they have. If they had a father who was say an electrician he would have a role model. A role model that worked hard, paid a mortgage, car and vacations.
