So what?
Any possibility of showing the connection between Hunters corruption and Joes involvement would obviously be huge in the political spectrum. That's what. Or do you not agree that if the courts can prove Hunters corrupt business dealing also involved Joe that it would be a big deal?

“Weiss charged Hunter Biden on Thursday, asserting he was “engaged in a four-year scheme” to not pay at least $1.4 million in taxes “he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019 and to evade the assessment of taxes for tax year 2018 when he filed false returns.”

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2023/12/08/hunter-biden-faces-42-years-prison-tax-gun-charges/

And?

Just like Trump and his attorneys have done, Hunter and his attorneys are claiming this is a politically motivated 'witch hunt.' Sounds familiar. Turnabout is fair play, right? Hmmm, wonder when our elected officials will resume the business of running the country, passing bills, budgets, and laws for example. My guess is not before January 2025.

BTW

'The charges are centered on at least $1.4 million in taxes Hunter Biden owed during between 2016 and 2019, a period where he has acknowledged struggling with addiction. The back taxes have since been paid.'

Hunter was living in Joe’s house in 2019. Joe was running for President and knew Hunter was a junkie. Yet, Joe had no knowledge or expressed any interest in Hunter’s dealings in foreign countries.

Sounds a lot like Sam Bankman Fired. He had no idea what was going on in his own Hedge Fund.

The charges are basically tax related.   If his name wasn't Hunter Biden, no-one would have ever heard of this case.   A ton of people commit tax evasion.   However there's literally have been no evidence that Joe was involved in Hunter Biden's dealings.

Now I'm more than sure that Hunter Biden used his fathers connections to land jobs and threw around his fathers name.   He couldn't even pass a drug test at McDonald's.   But again, every wealthy family does the same thing.  There's this guy I know that has basically smashed in windows at bars in Greenville, hit parked cars while drunk and ran a couple off the road causing some very serious injuries...almost got killed.   Yet he's never spent a day in jail because his family is quite powerful and influenial.  They are basically like the Murdochs

I don't like Hunter or Joe Biden.   I think that they have enriched themselves with their wealth and influence as with every other wealthy family and are pretty corrupt.   But we have a rule of law in this country and we need the evidence

They will slow roll this to after the election or clear him before. No chance this gets to a discovery phase in public in an election year.

You are correct. Not everyone with an affluent family has an easy ride, but many do. People of means can afford to hire the best attorneys. An excellent attorney with good connections will often get folks off the hook or at least lessen the charges against them. It helps when someone listens to and follows their attorney's advice. I know this from personal experience… not mine, but those of a few of my relatives.

This isn't just about him not paying his taxes on time.  It's about him doing things like paying for porn and trying to pass it off as a business expense.  And spending his money on hookers instead of paying his taxes.

That said, interesting that this is happening now right after Newsome was introduced to a national audience in the debate.

Time to throw Joey under the bus?

That's exactly what they are doing.  They never liked him and he is of no use to them anymore.

Are you just now coming to this realization? You are correct Hunter Biden didn't pay taxes during that time while he was in a drug stupor. He has since paid his back taxes. So technically, he pays taxes... just pays them late and probably with added fines and possibly a prison sentence depending on what happens at his trial.

False.  This stuff happened after his drug rehab.  Gotta be careful when repeating talking points.

Absolutely but that tax relation is what has everyone curious about the association with Joe. There may be evidence that comes out later that connects the two and that creates interest.
All politicians get rich from our tax dollars, it's a problem all around.

Unheard of.  You mean we aren't supposed to scream witch hunt, deranged, unfair, and attack judges and witnesses before the trial is over?  Or even starts?

Is an AG and Judge supposed predetermine the outcome of a trial before it even starts? Comrade?
