Same here. I am still surprised at how offended people get with even a little criticism. I've pissed off family and friends saying the most innocent stuff by Getbig standards.

I've been banned from 3 gambling forums, suspended many times on Quora and am now on my 3rd user name because of complete bans, permanently banned on a men's forum (Roosh V), suspended multiple times on sports forums along with probably more I've forgotten about.

The worst are sports forums where grown men argue about high school recruits and their college football choices. The other day a guy said his daughter was going to be a pilot in the Air Force and somebody else commented that the military has changed a lot the last few years and he wouldn't join today. The father lost his shit and demanded the guy be banned! When the mods didn't respond the father said he was deleting his account and refused to be a part of the forum ever again. These guys wouldn't last 1 hour on here.

I am hesitant to even try Twitter out. I very much need to begin (I know a little late to the game) social media for business, but I hear nothing but horror stories.
One thing that has puzzled me for a long time that maybe you or others here can answer for me.

My wife uses a lot of social media for her job and for business, but cancelled all of her personal accounts (mainly Facebook - don’t think she did personal twitts (sp?) much after the 2016 election because a very small minority of her network was Woke up or whatever the fck they call it and would raise holy hell if she said anything in support of Trump. Here’s my question - she would often say things that I had read here on GB MUCH earlier. For instance she used pwned one time saying she read it somewhere and I told her I had seen that for over a decade here. There are shit tons of other examples that it’s too early for my old brain to think of. So - does GB really set trends like that or most of the other guys really active on other media and pick up things that they then use here? I admit that I used to think this place was juvenile, but I have grown to truly appreciate GB. I think it’s because for years (decades) I ONLY used the net for work, history / research, or bodybuilding. Now I see that GB is so much more.
