This is true for most states. There are 36 states that allow marriages at 16 years of age. Two states have a minimum marriage age of 15, they are Hawaii and Missouri. Massachusetts and New Hampshire have the lowest age which is 14. Almost all states require parental consent or other authorization for anyone under the age of 18 to marry. A couple of states require the age of 20 or 21 years old to marry without consent. When I got married at age 20, I needed parental consent. We lived in California but married in Las Vegas. Not sure if it was both state with that age requirement for men.

x2 sub-5 40y and sub-12 100m (in high school, electronic timing) are standard performances around here.
