There are still good bands performing today but don't get much attention.

In the film "Bicentennial Man"  the folks of the future were still listening to traditional Jazz and popular vocals.  I recall...No cRap was heard. No Hippity-Hop.  No Hick-Hop (aka, new country).  Jazz is America's musical gift to the World.

cRap is a virus.

“I rode a tank, held a generals rank, when the Blitskrieg raged at its finest stage”. Very intelligent lyrics in that song.

Off topic/on topic. I’m more of a Beatles fan although I do really like The Stones.

we all live in a yellow submarine.... ??

Their early stuff was great, then they realized they could write any fucking gibberish that came to mind and the people would eat it up simply because they were the Beatles.

They did have a lot of great hits though...........but lucy in the sky with diamonds...  ???

Gimme` a break !  :D

Quote
Everybody gonna dance tonight
Everybody gonna feel alright
Everybody gonna dance around tonight

Everybody gonna dance around
Everybody gonna hit the ground
Everybody gonna dance around tonight

Well you can come on to my place if you want to
You can do anything you want to do

Everybody gonna dance tonight
Everybody gonna feel alright
Everybody gonna dance around tonight

Well you can come on to my place if you want to
You can do anything you want to do

Everybody gonna stamp their feet
Everybody's gonna feel the beat
Everybody gonna dance around tonight

Everybody's gonna dance tonight
Everybody gonna feel alright
Everybody gonna dance around tonight

Everybody gonna jump and shout
Everybody's gonna sing it out
Everybody gonna dance around tonight

Well you can come on to my place if you want to
You can do anything you want to do

Everybody gonna dance tonight
Everybody gonna feel alright
Everybody gonna dance around tonight
Everybody gonna dance around tonight
Everybody's gonna feel alright tonight

In 2023 the new music is shit. Most of what I listen to is at least 20+ yrs old. Just like a new good movie is rare so is new music.
