Hard to say. It's really amazing that guys like Sylvester struggled to get their pro card. Then less than 10 years later guys like Dan Hill were turning pro. Solomon and Hill had roughly the same amount of success as pros- which was not much.
To me the 90's guys are undoubtedly the best ever. It's hard to appreciate today's pros. But they are massive. They are so big their lines and proportions are completely fucked. It looks like they all have small arms and chest but it's only because their shoulder, traps, lats and everything else are so big in proportion. It's also hard to judge today's pros conditioning. The lighting at the shows washes out a lot of the details. But they are all shredded, the lighting makes it hard to see it though.
Sylvester looks way better than today's pros but he'd probably be too small to do well.
