Just letting you guys know that I am doing well. Sober for 10 months now. First time logging in since late Feb.

My life was truly out of control. Drinking nearly killed me. Blew through 100k in less than a year.

Was living in my car, and developed blood clots in my legs, one of which traveled to my lungs. Doctor said I might not have made it if I would have come in a few days later.

I just look back and realize how truly lost I was. Glad to be alive, and have a much different outlook on life.

They snaked a tube through a catheter in my jugular vein. They went to where the blood clot was in my left lung, and using the perforated tube, released medication to break it up.

I was a mess, dude. Ballooned up to 300lbs while I drank and gambled for a year, while wasting 4,500-5,000 a month living in a hotel. I was already in addiction, but I didn’t mourn my parents passing away in 2021, properly.

Currently getting my life back together. Crazy thing, is that I found Jesus.
