A huge dude comes up to me in the gym last week and says......"Don`t I know you" ?
Guy`s around 6'3" and 245 holding it well........pretty lean,and huge.
I said I doubt it ,I probably would have more than likely remembered you.
He then goes in to say that he met me around 17 years or so ago at Saint Lawrence University gym where I trained for 12 years.
I said,dude I`m sorry but that doesn`t ring a bell.
He then proceeds to tell me he was just a skinny kid starting out and I was showing him some training tips as he was picking my brain.........still I had no clue.
Then he says you were ripped, and after every workout the thing that stuck in my mind.......... was that you always had a shaker of Whey powder and a cold baked potato that you would always eat outside the gym after training.
For some reason this struck me as funny and I laughed my ass off.......cuz that was my post-workout ritual for years.....either whey or a cold chicken breast with a baked potato in foil.
Anyway,he`s a good dude .......I spotted him on the bench last week and he did an easy 395 with a liftoff......he had 405 in him easy but decided not to try it.
Now we`re friends...........NO HOMO.
