Totally understandable; one cannot help but sympathize.   :'(

Total speculation: he lived and liked the rural life.  He was probably out and about (hunting, fishing, hiking, etc.) away from his truck and had a heart attack.

He was open about his health challenges in recent years and posted about them on Facebook.  As recently as 2020 he still looked jacked for a man his age.  As I recall he was about 5'7"

Having a loving (and big) family and doing what you love are all to be kept in perspective. He went young but that is all relative if you look across the globe.

He kept his foot on the gas for way too long and paid the price with numerous severe health problems that no doubt reduced the quality of his life for many years.

Then he finally croaked.

But totally worth it.

I couldn't help but notice that as well. It is the elephant in the room that goes unmentioned.  He was HUGE at one point. That doesn't happen without consequence.

I competed in a powerlifting comp in Jackson Mississippi with him when I was a teenager.  I won the best lifter for under 185 and he won be lifter above 185.  He was like 220 at that show. Dude was a monster back then.
