Frank McGrath's Near Death Experience.
« on: January 04, 2024, 12:15:02 AM »
I'm only ten minutes in, so I'm not even sure what this is about yet - Frank starts by talking about a bad shot of testosterone [TRT] in his shoulder that developed into a hematoma, and then called the ambulance where his blood pressure was tested at 54/40. He was then given an immediate blood transfusion.

After that, he was then found to have two big ulcers in his esophagus, and two ulcers in his stomach, and was apparently bleeding internally.

Again, this is only ten minutes in so far.

It seems like more and more bad news keeps coming. I'm at the 13-minute mark now, and Frank says he was in the ICU for a week, and lost 30-lb. He had eight blood transfusions / eight bags of blood, and is also on painkillers, and on Warfarin [due to being on home-based kidney dialysis]. Frank says a lot of this could have been avoided if he had gotten regular blood work done.

I'm just over 15 minutes in now, and Frank is on Dilaudid [hydromorphone] now. His pain must be pretty strong to given that.

Here is a summary of the parts of this video from YouTube:

From what I can tell, the worst is behind him. Although he says in this video, he's on the way back to getting freaky...so I was a bit disappointed hearing that:

Stories like Frank's always scared me straight - these stories are the reason I only ever dabbled in things, and always kept my body weight below 200. Not to blame what he's going through all on steroids/PED's, but it seems to have definitely contributed to some of them.

wes, tell me something:
You always competed under 200-lb, right?

I don't think anyone with the training history you have would have done that by accident.

Is it safe to say, you made a conscious choice to keep your body weight in the healthy range? Is there a particular reason you decided that? Was health always your underlying goal, without which, you wouldn't have competed [if it compromised your health]?

Of course he's going back to being ''huge''. It's the only thing that keeps him relevant. Without his muscle armor he is just an invisible scared little boy. Props to Lee Haney and others like him who were mentally strong enough to leave BB behind and focus on more important things in life like family etc.

I competed under 200 because I was a tiny guy genetically who started competing in my 40`s other than one other contest in 1987.

Plus I missed over 11 years of  training time.

He is on dialysis and still over eats and juices. Not much to say to a gentleman with that mindset and approach towards life (or better, death).

exactly this. Dudes a moron. He has had kidney issues since childhood and continues to over eat and blast gear.

Will be dead soon, fingers crossed

Also, a bad shot from TRT LOL. I'm sure we have all experienced bad shots using UGLs. However, if you were using doctor prescribed TRT which comes from a pharmacy in Canada and doing say 1cc-2cc a week of actual TRT how are you getting an infection.

It’s a tired old story.  Should have done more blood work, correct diet could have prevented it blah blah blah.  At least it wasn’t Mark McGrath!

He looks like he’s had a ton of work done in his face in that pic I posted.  When I first saw the thread title I thought it was him haha.  He is totally cooked in that vid.

This is what happens when you buy vials from the trunk of car in the gym parking lot from the gym drug dealer. Probably counterfeit boxes and inserts that were made in China. The stuff in the vial was mixed in a dirty vat with some Asian's flip flop.

Frank McGrath is even stoopider than me.

Dilaudid is quite strong.  I have had it in the hospital and it is given for severe pain.  I finally got them to stop giving it to me by just saying my pain level was a "2".    If this McGrath goes back to being "huge" I give him less than a year.  I was placed in the "your are gonna die here" ward.

His family will say it was congenital and beyond his control.  Congenital STOOPIDITY.

x2.  Muscle mass is his whole identity; without it he cannot go on.  It's not like he can set it aside and go become a nurse or physical therapist and live a normal life without fans or followers.

Remember when Ryan Kennelly was jailed and shrank in size?  At the time he said he was grateful for it and would move on from being huge.  As he soon as he got out of the can he blew himself up again.   :-\

Just a bit more insane than a typical Getbigger on Tren for his 160lb gym bod.

Not observing proper care when injecting.

I still do not really understand “from my hospital bed” influencer YouTubes even though there have been a lot of them. When I am unwell, I curl up and want to be private until somewhat recovered. Are there financial incentives here? Posting brings revenue to help with hospital bills or income loss? Or is it just attention whoredom?
