That is the whole thing doesn't really matter what my voice sounds like or how I look I remember hearing a coach tell his wrestler at a big tourney look at this kid you can take him. These local dojo’s need the money, they can’t have their fighter losing to a guy with no affiliation to any training or gym.


Hahahahah if you’ve ever been to one of these local mma events IF someone goes the distance the “judges” want no part of arguing with the schools or the outcome.

I’ve seen guys that did not belong in any sort of physical altercation get their butt handed to them in 30 seconds (tap or knock out) and the entourage arguing so much about the quick outcome that they changed the decision to a no contest, so it wouldn’t show up as a loss on the record……

I’ve also see guys knocked out insisting they weren’t, as they obviously don’t remember what happened.

The refs/judges want every competitor to go home and not to  the hospital. On a ground and pound if there is any damage being done, if the opponent is not able to defend himself, or is busted open they call it quickly or at worst stand them back up. These fights aren’t the UFC, no one is playing the bongos on someone’s head for 2 rounds and not getting the fight called in their favor.

That Hankins would argue this fact and claim that he won is insane, especially when the ref so quick to make a decision on Hankins physical condition to continue but let Clegg “get his head bashed in for 8 minutes”.

Hahahaha - that's happened to me twice - once in a motorbike accident, and once when I got jumped by a group when the club closed.  Both times my mind just 'stitched' over the gap and I wondered why people were looking at me worried
