Is this bad? I mean I’ve been told by fucknuts and simps all my life, “It’s just two people in love with each other,” and, “A child can be raised just as good by two homosexuals; there are plenty of abusive straight homes,” and “Why does it matter to you? Are you secretly gay?”
If sexual orientation is determined at birth/creation it’s only bad if society recognizes pedophila as a legitimate orientation. They can play the same tropes of why would anyone choose to be this way, when it’s so frowned upon. Why would anyone choose to be attracted to minors.
Also the fact that trans people are attached to the idea of sexual orientation is insulting to the homosexual community. In less than a decade we have seen an “acceptance”, and I don’t know if that’s the right word, of homosexual orientation, to the normalization of transgender orientation EVEN if the person has the opposite genitalia of their preferred sex.
A traditional nuclear family has thousands of years of history and has been successful in advancing society; what is the history of the limited results of being raised in an LGBTQ environment? We know children can be raised by straight, gay, alcoholics, drug addicts, multi cultural/ racial, etc…. And can be productive members of society and they will have issues.
They bigger question is as the number of self identifiers grows, and if in less than a generation we have gone from 3-5% of the general population to a 1/4 of the population in a specific age group that identifies, that growth projects to continue to grow exponentially what has history told us will happen to our society?
As a society we may be in unprecedented territory as far this “sexual revolution” goes.
