best part of the movie is where Jake and Connor go on top of the mountain in a tent, Jake spits a loogie in his hand and Connor just took it like the champ he is. Award winning stuff...

All too often these sequels are made because of the money to be had.  Unfortunately, all it does is lessen the legacy of the original.  In this case the original was a "cult classic" and was not renowned for cinematic excellence but was just a pretty kick ass watch for most men.

I made that mistake a few years ago and was sorry I did.. original Point Break is the same situation.  Great as it was.  No need for a new remake, reboot, re-fuck, whatever you want to call it.

No point in a remake when the movie can't benefit from anything like advances in technology/sfx
The original was a raw film, good action,  realistic fight scenes, whitty dialogue.
You can already see the woke character changes and piss poor acting from supporting cast.
I think it'll be OK for throw away fun but that's about it, another pointless remake
