What was the high crime and misdemeanor? Not agreeing with an administrations policy is one thing, but seems a bit rash to attempt impeach him.

The two articles charge Mayorkas with "willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law" in enforcing border policy and "breach of public trust."

There should have never been any impeachment to begin with. Impeachment is reserved for criminal actions and not for policy disputes. In addition, Mayorkas is not an elected official but is a federal employee so even when the get the votes, it will do them no good. He'll still show up for work everyday.

And seriously...why would you think that any Democrat would vote for this?? They tried to push this though becaudr they thought a Democrat member was in the hospital....kinda of low if you ask me. The whole thing is just a waste of time. There was a bipartisan bill in place ready for Biden to sign and it wasnt.

I agree with this.

However - two things:

Mayorkis literally said he couldn't understand why they were doing this. When it's clear as day the current administration is putting American lives in danger with a porous border. He's purposely acting stupid.

The Democrats are the ones that politicized impeachment with the Ukraine call. We said it from inception that this would lead to impeachments coming the other way due to this.

None of this should be surprising to the left.

Then, he appointed his VP that nobody wanted to be the Border Czar, and she literally did nothing.

Dems will now try to spin the R's not wanting a bill that sends more money to Ukraine as their excuse.
