It's a moral code for a good, realistic bare bones life on this earth.
Of course this realm is connected to others so most dedicated followers also delve into other practices. LaVey himself was well versed in other forms of worship but kept his church compatible with normies e.g. edgy & wealthy seekers.

I didn't remember that one but I have someone who gives me insane gifts. I feel wrong taking it but he says different people bring different things to the table, I have more money, you bring X, it all evens out. But it feels wrong and sort of manipulative. Is LaVey talking about the same thing, what's your take on it?
