It's hard to pinpoint the precise peak. I think for cars mid - late 60s through early 70's.

Music and general popular culture mid to late 70's

Bodybuilding late 70's through early 90's

Cinema and movie theater definitely 70's.

Style? I'd probably go with late 50's through mid 60s.

I gotta say whatever your preference,  there is no doubt that just about everything now is complete and utter shit.
Totally agree.

What technology? Is rambling on twitter suppose to be a step up from Vinyl?

The only advantage that really means something is medical advances and they've been nullified by addiction, girls, and obesity.

Technology has gotten better by leaps and bounds but it's been captured by "the controllers" and is being used against us.

Also totally agree. I was born 1971 and by my early teens had immersed myself as best I could in the 70’s. Always wished Id been born maybe a decade earlier. Everything pretty much sucked and is now going down hill since about 1995

True words - I got the first glimpse of this feeling in 1992.

It’s easy to romanticize the past, but people have always sucked. The 70s was also full of worthless pieces of shit.

If you use the technology for social media and just to dick around, yeah it has no value, but if used properly almost anyone can become an expert at anything as a result of having access to unlimited amounts of information at all times

It’s easy to take all of this for granted, but it’s still pretty new. I can remember not too long ago the first time I placed the stock trade online. I was on an Amtrak  heading to upstate NY. I remember thinking to myself “I can’t believe it. I just made a trade while riding a train.”

But what happens when you have to stand alone without access to a PC?

I watch people on Youtube with the most sophistaced power tools cutting accurate woodworking joints.
What happens when they dont have the tools, they cant saw a peice of wood straight by hand because they never had to learn

This is the reason, the "controllers" constantly pushing stuff the people don't want

We have more access to better products than ever. We have more access to better health care than ever. We have more access to better food. We have more access to knowledge than ever. There are more options for entertainment and leisure. People are aging slower and living longer healthier more active lives.

The golden girls and the sex and the city cast are the same age. 45-year-olds look like 30-year-old from 3 decades ago.

Humans will never be this great again....

No fat twats, the women natural beauties, no fake tits and asses, no lip fillers and botox

6 mins in, incredible

Saw them 18-20 years ago in concert in a 20,000 seat venue and there were about 4,000 people there. I felt bad for them. I look at this clip and realize I missed them at their peak. The young guitarist and his sister, from this clip, died in that plane crash. Sucks.

Sonuvabitch, when I was a kid growing up in 70's and 80's... I thought that by the year 2024 we'd all be wearing jetpacks and flying to work, movies would be interactive holograms, space travel would be common and there'd be colonies on mars and the moon...

And in 2024 what I got are kids who think they're cats, a senile blithering idiot who can't read is president, we're on the verge of an all bug diet, Supreme court justices don't know what a woman is and there's discussions as to whether or not being on time is racist.

WTF happened? I mean I thought it would be similar to Logans Run (minus carousel) and we're on the verge of soylent green.
