Wow, that's really sad.

I genuinely admired Carl Weathers for his performances in different roles.

He truly stood out as Apollo Creed. Whenever I see him in the Rocky movies, it instantly brings me back to the 70s and 80s.

Wow….. it’s strange to think he was 76 and that he’s gone.

It’s sad the last memory many will have of him is when he lost his cool and went on stage slapped Chris Rock.

Edit:  Oh my God I'm such an idiot - totally mixed him up with another actor.  I've just realised that I actually loved him in Lethal Weapon!

I remember when I first watched Rocky I-IV, I always felt that I would be happy if my physique looked as good as his.

Supposedly he was an NFL player before he went into acting, so the guy was already a genetically gifted super athlete.
