(S)H.I.T is dead
« on: February 05, 2024, 12:44:01 AM »
Bible basher and methzer manaic John Heart admits that (s)HIT is basically dead when in fact it never took off. It was dead on arrival. 5 decades of this (s)HIT and it still has a very dismal success rate. Heart desperately uses methzer and Yates as "great" examples of (s)HIT when in fact both never trained that way to build their bodies. Even though methzer and the (s)HIT he endorsed has had a bit of a resurgence in the last year it still proved to be as useless as when it was first promoted by the (s)HIT inventor Arthur Jones. All (s)HIT has ever done is appealed to the lazy and the naive convincing them that they can get great results by doing the bare minimum only for these clowns to end up looking like shit from (s)HIT.

Almost every bodybuilder has experimented with (s)HIT in their training journey. The reason they stop using it is they realize it is inferior to other styles.

Do the HIT pimps know it is bullshit?  Yates?  Mentzer?  Colorado Experimenters? Of course.  Imagine living such a lie for years?  I get pimping fart powder a bit, but all those blatant lies about building muscle from HIT seems way worse to me

Yates knows it's bs. He just capitalising on his own legacy to stay relevant by making out he did something "different" than other pros. Gotta make the money somehow. Fact is he trained like most pro's.

methzer sold HIT because he had nothing else. Couldn't even win one olympia..lol. Anyhow, he was out to make money and the best way to do that was sell a training method (that methzer stole from Jones) that appeals to a person's lazy side. Who wouldn't want to be in the gym once a week for 20 minutes and build maximum size? Sounds great on paper but real world results dictate otherwise. His outdated and ludicrous training methods have never, ever produced a champion after a champion after a champion in the decades since Heavy Duty was first advertised. It's nothing but a gimmick so con men like Heart can sell to the naive and the uniformed.

I remember giving it a go back in 92. Had the books and tapes. Menthol made it sound good, this was his strength, selling or pitching an idea.
We followed the program to the T. the first 3 weeks we made progress, kept it to ourselves and laughed at others as we left the gym before others finished their warm-ups.

Shortly after the results and gains where diminishing. No matter how hard we tried it just seemed to S(HIT) a wall.

All progress halted and training desire followed to near nothing.

We took two weeks off and switched back to volume. Never looked back

If only there were some way to find out? Just take 2 grams instead of 1 gram and see if you notice a difference. No one can tell you. You have to find out for yourself. Again though you are already taking more than you need and overtraining then jerking off half a dozen times a day. More gear is not the issue. But by all means take more and find out for yourself.

I have tried it for some time and it is not a pleasant way to train.
The most "easy" way to make progress is through total volume and changing exercises.
Albeit in the long run one of the advanced programmes is required - enter Louie Simmons and company.

Foaud and a few other pros say the ceiling is 1.25 grams

This. I wouldn't train that way at my age. It's not enjoyable. You can still put in a hardcore session without needing to tax your CNS that much.

Although I followed it out of ignorance I don’t regret doing HIT.

For a 100% ecto I was still in good BB shape and because my workouts were shorter my body isn’t destroyed today.

I was never going to be a Pro (thank god my genetics weren’t there or maybe I would have) so it really did work out for me.

The last clowns I'd be listening to...

1. For Test, isn't it kind of individual? Don't people aromatize at different rates and some are prone to androgenic sides: hair loss, cystic acne, cortisol,  mood changes etc?

2. I mean, no offense DJ, but take Larry Scott for example. Does anyone think Larry was on a gram of gear? Can someone explain Larry to me? Guys arms and shoulders were massive, he looked great, yet there's guys in my gym who take a shit ton of gear and they look like shit. Younger guys just look like gym bros, and older dudes look like they're on deaths door. One guy has to be 50, he's a decent size and fairly lean, but he's purple and has a lifetime of muscle tears,  acne scars and brutal male pattern baldness.

3. Gym Rat, you think they cooked their kidneys using anabolics or more likely cutting agents, stimulants and pain killers?

    (Youre 100% right).

    (I'm guessing these 2 - anabolics & cutting agents)

I dont have much gear experience (TRT mainly) but Ive been reading/studying this shit for decades. Which means nothing really, experimentation is the real way to find out.
As you mentioned.
Im just not into that. I tried the TRT and TRT+ for a handful of years, didnt agree w/ me)...

1 gram of Test, for 50 year olds, is probably not a great idea though...

The study they did in test involved 25 50 125 300 600 mg test and the higher the dose the more muscle gained and the more fat lost so....

Bout the kidney doc Blakeley is also in stage 3 kindey failure but he has been is stage 3 for awhile

I know he liked eq alot so got a feeling that did something in this regard

We have no idea how much Larry actually took or anyone else. It is all an individual thing not just with anabolic but with everything training, diet, recovery etc there is no one answer for everyone. That is why you have to take everything with a grain of salt what works for someone else may not work for you. You need to learn to incorporate what does work for you and you have to try different things to see what works best for you. Perhaps that means lifting once a week eating mcdonalds and blasting 5g of gear. Perhaps it means being vegan, organic, non gmo, and doing yoga and cardio 3x a day with some light calisthenics mixed in and 150mg of test. You have to work with your genetic material, your age, your size, your injuries, your metabolism, your ability to process and utilize different compounds, your ability to eat, rest, and recover because everyone is different. No one can just give you the answer
