Agreed. I’m so punctual it’s ridiculous. If I have to be at an appt at 7am I’m there at 6 just to make sure I’m good in case any problems arise on the way. Can’t stand people being late but I’d say 75% of the time everyone I know is late. How can you be late? When one of my workers is always late and says sorry there was traffic, well there’s always traffic so leave 20 minutes earlier. He’s a great worker and hustles so I don’t mind but if he was late and a regular worker he would be gone.

In over 50 years of punching a clock I have never been late once.  I am always early. Way early.  My father taught me that in the real world if you show up on time, that's fine and dandy.  But if you show up early and work your ass off then you become more than just an employee, you are an asset.
