Watched it. Thought it was pretty decent. I always like seeing the depiction of Miami back in the good days. That place was always fun when Cocaine ran the show.

True story - I know Barry Seal’s son. He’s younger than me but my wife went to school with him. He said Cruise was pretty cool, but odd as fck when he met him. Tom played his pop in that movie.
My dad was working in BR back then and was driving home and saw all of the police and EMS responding when the cartel killed Barry. They shot him at a halfway house.
Other crazy coincidence. I worked with a Plauche - who was Gary Plauches neice. If you’ve never seen the video it’s awesome. Gary’s son - my friends cousin - was molested by his karate instructor. The old EBR airport was very lax security wise and when the cops brought the suspect back to Baton Rouge, Gary was pretending to be on a pay phone and walked right through all of the cops and blew his head off. You can hear the cops saying “NO Gary don’t”
Gary did no time!! That’s how we handle or at least used to handle justice in the Deep South.
