Autism has been linked to them. Whats wrong with developing a strong immune system.
Vaccine/autism = myth
Completely fabricated. The initial claim has been thoroughly debunked. And the "doctor" who made the initial claims has been discredited and, in fact, was known as a quack prior to his claims. But it was such a sensational claim at the time that people latched on to it.
Then nut jobs like Jenny McCarthy, a person with less than ZERO credibility in the medical field, but has a platform due to her B level fame and her husbands notoriety (Jim Carrey at some point) it caught fire. MSM , before it was completely hijacked by left wing propagandists, reported on it as if it was fact.
By the time my first child was born (mid- 2000's) the medical community had started setting the record straight but the initial coverage of nut-jobs like McCarthy and other celebrities who pushed the theory was a lot to overcome and its a myth that persists to this day.
The vaccines referred to at that time were polio, MMR, DIP, Tetanus, Var have been given long before the prevalence of autism.
My oldest daughter is considered 'on the spectrum.' There's no test for autism. Just diagnostics. The diagnostics have changed over time. At one point she was considered autistic- which qualified for certain insurance benefits. the criteria changed, my daughter was diagnosed "PDDNOS= pervasive development disorder not otherwise specified" which was not considered autistic and didn't qualify for benefits. The final official diagnosis was "on the spectrum" which did qualify for limited benefits.
We eventually distanced her as much as we could from the additional diagnosis, treatments, therapies, education etc... she went to a public school, with normal curriculum, normal classes. She made friends, played sports, lives a very normal life.
Though she has some quirks, no one would ever know she was once diagnosed with autism. There was something delayed about her development. She did odd things, ignored other kids, ignored typical toys etc... but she turned the corner. She ended up always getting good grades through school. And as far as her ignoring other people, it was a blessing. She never got into trouble, she'd spend her time reading or playing an instrument etc.
My sister-in-law has 4 kids. 3 of them are total mongrels and 2 off them have severe developmental diagnosis and she recieves insurance benefits. She puts them in all kinds of programs that other people have to pay fortunes for. It kind of pisses me off because her kids are dangerously deranged. I caught one choking a puppy once and my immediate reaction was to whack it across the head with the sharp edge of a book I was carrying. (I wanted to give it a front thrust kick to the adams apple but restrained myself) the kid started blubbering immediately which caused the parents to run in. The kid was too mu h of a mongoloid to describe to the parents exactly what happened. They're the type of kids that end up as serial killers if they grow up unsupervised. Ive seen them do other vicious shit just out of their inherent nature. I can't stand those kids and avoid them at all costs, lest I end up ragdolling one of them- which would make for awkward Christmases.
