I like all the threads you start mate - I'm not being sarcastic. You actually talk about bodybuilding in the way most people assume members in this forum would, when they first get here. Good stuff

Anyone who says Dorian looked like crap in the 1997 Mr O should look at the pic above - sure he let his gut loose towards the end and all, but when he held it in and hit the poses (except for the front double bi), there was no one onstage who deserved to beat him

The funny thing is , is that that picture is not photoshopped !
Dorian was one of those guys that really made an impression on you when you saw him In person on stage ! Hard as nails.

He does look impressive in that shot and obviously in many back shots.

However, there were several people who looked better that year....especially nasser.

Yates thighs were HUGE off season. They lost tons of size when he dropped below 280 or so.

In 97 he looked really good from the back but his gut was really thick & distened for that show plus is triceps was torn I personally don't think he should have won that year , Nasser looked great from the front but again he couldn't match Dorian from the rear & couple that with being the current O that saved his ass in 97 he was still hard as nails though
