I may just be lucky to have incredible kids. They are all so much more intelligent mature than I was at their age. I don’t claim to be some superior father taking credit, I just love them and the greatest joy of my life is watching them build their lives. I damn sure don’t deserve them. I did everything in my power to try and fck my life up in my early adulthood - just got lucky meeting my wife.

"Many of our ethnic groups have preserved the tradition of having strong multigenerational families with four, five, or even more children. Let us remember that Russian families, many of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers had seven, eight, or even more children," said Putin, while addressing the council through a video link.

"Let us preserve and revive these excellent traditions. Large families must become the norm, a way of life for all Russia's peoples. The family is not just the foundation of the state and society, it is a spiritual phenomenon, a source of morality," he said.
