I know bhank is not everyone's cup of tea. But let's face it, despite swearing up and down that many of you would ignore him, we have still found ourselves knee-deep in every thread he churns out, tossing insults like sperm at one of DJ's swing parties. He's been banned for 2-3 days, and oddly enough, the thread he started remains the top discussion on the forum. Despite knowing he won't return for over 35+ days, responses and insults keep flooding in. Why do we keep responding to someone's thread, when the person has now been banned and is incapable of responding? Yes, he can read the replies and insults, but that doesn't take away from the fact that bandwidth from all involved is also keeping the idea of him alive here on the forum.
Bhanks is the ultimate love-to-hate figure, the villain you just can't resist taking a swing at. He's the oxygen that keeps the fire burning in your bellies, driving you to unleash your most creative insults, photoshops and witty comebacks. Think about it. How much of your precious time and energy have you dedicated to dissecting his every move? How many sleepless nights have been spent crafting the perfect retort or editing a photo to roast him? He's carved out a prime piece of real estate in all of our minds, rent-free.
Why? Because he's an easy target. He's the Joker to your Batman, the antagonist that gives your heroism purpose. Villains play a role in our society, they're like the necessary evil that keeps things in check. They give us something to react to and sometimes even a sense of purpose. Sure, you might throw a jab at DJ now and then, but let's be real, it's not nearly as exhilarating. Short of a YouTube music video you've never seen, it's not the same thing. You've gotten used to a high-end escort, why settle for the Thai-girl, who is missing teeth, and who could very well be a ladyboy (no offense to ladyboys or dj)?
At GetBig, a lot of our enjoyment comes from lively exchanges. Whether it's talking shit, making fun at pictures, calling out nonsense or delivering a masterful owning, these interactions make things interesting. I appreciate the diversity of opinions here. If we all agreed all the time, things would get pretty dull. I'm all about rooting for the underdogs, those who don't quite fit the mold. Why? Because I believe in growth and redemption. I've seen many people start off as villains here and end up being valued members of the community.
Ultimately, our aim should be to keep the community thriving and growing in numbers. We're not always going to see eye to eye, and that's okay. But even those irritating individuals we'd rather avoid serve a purpose, they keep things lively. It's like knowing a hot stove will burn you, yet you can't resist touching it. So, let's embrace the Chaos. The worst-case scenario? You'll burn off a few fingers on the stove, nothing we can't handle as evidently noted in the most recent WYHI thread.
