I would not go there, even if you truly mean it (but especially if you don’t altogether mean it). Stop worrying so much about “sabotaging”. When and if it feels right, you can tell her about that aspect of your past (without dramatizing it). If there is a side of you that wants to leave the “sabotaging” behind, it may actually be helpful to talk to women about it (not just men like on here). Just my 2 cents.
