I thought someone posted googles diversity stats and it showed the workforce was white men and Asians?

It makes for a good joke about the clown world we live in today.

However, in my experience, at least in the tech industry nobody will hire a moron and take a chance they will damage their business.


Maybe this is more relevant in the public sector

It’s definitely a public sector idea. I was at the School District office in the HR office and on the video board the now hiring section had a “qualification” that said they were looking for women of color to apply.

I pointed out they may want to not publicly put that in the job hiring and they looked at me like I was crazy, lol. I suggested it could be considered discriminatory against men and non binary, non ethnic individuals and one woman said, “I guess we didn’t think about that.”
