I completely agree sadly.

there are still some great women with good values but I appear to attract nutters, gold diggers, wannabes or never-have-beens.  the issue is life is now viewed materially by so many woman. When I was earning well my treat to me was to fly first class. Those days are gone. But I loved it. I was at dinner with a woman recently and she said she only ever turns left on a plane.

I asked her who her favourites airline was. She couldnt name one she had actually turned left on a plane. It was her birthday a week later - I sent her flowers but had my kids and they come first. She dropped us via text saying 'I had hoped you would whisk me away first class to somewhere exotic (I love jamaica so she was hinting at that) but as you didnt I dont think we are right for each other.'

Basically after a dinner she thought i was dropping 15k to sweep her off her feet. Not a chance.

I responded with 'happy to do jamaica what do you think?'

I got 'ok last chance'

I went back with 'Its 12k for a week first class so if you book it I wiil send you my half.
