If you think that you made this clear, I disagree.
If you have two or more male characters in a paragraph or the previous one, repeating the name instead of using the pronoun will prevent confusion.
Distance: If several sentences have passed since the name was last used, it's safer to repeat the name so the reader doesn't lose track.
Clarity is key: The ultimate goal is to ensure the writing is easy for the reader to understand. If there's any doubt about who "him" refers to, use the name instead.

I dislike Trump much as does more and more people in the U.S. and even worldwide. There is no need for me to clutch at straws. Currently about 57% of the people disapprove of Trump. This is down -18% since he took office last January.
