Good ranting, I didn't know Josh had an economics degree lolRe: what qualifies as socially acceptable vs frowned-upon 'pride' it seems to all boil down to viewing life and every situation through the highly flawed construct of oppressed vs. oppressor. If you are viewed as the former by the left then racial/gender etc pride is actively encouraged and celebrated. Not so for the latter. This same binary oppressed/oppressor judgement determinant also applies to any number of far left causes and is reductive to society in so many ways, if for no other reason than entirely ignoring the merits of each side and their respective case in deciding which side to actively support and which to openly scorn, as well as failing to acknowledge the reality that within all groups there is good and bad individuals, not uniformity
