So many morons "lifting" these days (and almost killing themselves).
That twig had no business even trying that.
Plus shirtless in a gym, total tard.  ::)

Once you get past ego lifting, weight training is a rush.

Im not too sure what the big hype is about doing all these olympic type lifts. Most people dont know how to accurately perform these exercises.

With that said, I primarily use machines and plate loaded equipment.

I think since Crossfit became popular, many try these lifts, but they take training and experience.
Lots of people getting hurt these days thx to lifts they see on Social Media and the like.

yes, I agree.

These crossfit places teach these lifts as if they are easily done. Poor form and leads to injury.

Power movements are meant to be one rep max attempts, they are not meant to be done multiple times one after another.
As you tire you start losing form and thats when you get hurt

Crossfit is the perfect way to get serioulsy injured.

It's not a full blown "Olympic" lift, but high pulls just make me feel so much "healthier" after I do them.  I don't really get any endorphin rush from most lifts or from running, but I always feel great after high pulls.  Also upright rows make me feel good most of the time( a similar movement pattern), but I really only get a "healthy feeling rush" from high pulls.

I knew a kid who was an Olympic lifter........always worked on form with a broomstick or an empty bar.

When he loaded the bar he was stronger than Hell and his form was impeccable..... and his squat number was insane.

Same old story......too many idiots in the gyms these days that know jackshit.

Makes you stand more upright when relaxed, shoulders more neutral, maybe you breathe better.

I prefer using 10lbs each side for form. The weight makes the bar more stable and therefore, so do you.

Thats how the Chinese train their lifters at a young age. A piece of PVC pipe.
No touching real weights until form is mastered...

Clowns today load a bar because they see it on IG or FB... Tool-bags..

Yes I have seen a couple of videos of guys breaking their spine Olympic lifting. One was a guy snatching that failed and the bar hit the middle of his back. It's such a tragedy watching a guy become paralyzed from working out.
