Greatest car chase scene in a movie ever. Although I don’t like how they reuse a few scenes just different angles. Or at least if they were going to do that, make it not in a frame with the green Volkswagen. Also, that mustang doesn’t have positrack and only burns one wheel after the reverse scene.

I used to own 2 68 mustangs. They were both beaters. I scrapped one for the parts and built the other one, painted it Dark Forrest Green. I fucking loved that car. My dad and brother were pretty good mechanics,  I was not. But I did it all myself and then I drove the shit out of it.

The engine that was in it when I bought it was a 302. So obviously not original but it had some pep. It looked better than it actually ran. It was dependable though. I spent most of my time on the body. There wasn't a spec of rust on it.

Was getting it ready for a road trip. About the time it was ready was about the same time I got married. A few years later I had 3 kids and no 68 mustang.
