I’m not an overtly violent person and I can understand that dementia patients (not that I know this specific patients history mind you) can be a handful but if I witnessed them throw an elderly person to the ground like that - whether it was my relative or not - I’d end up in handcuffs. Lol sure they will.  You are aware the number 1 cost of a nursing home in the annual budget is attorneys on waiver. And I am 100% serious.   I know I have worked at several careone, Alaris health, family of caring.  More than likely the company has structured each facility as its own LLC.

If you do get stuck in one cheek your medications save up a handful and then eat them all at once go out on your own terms.

That’s sorta the case in Australia but if you hold out long enough they eventually tell you there is another option - you pay an extra $60 per day. I can’t remember the exact numbers but this was a friends experience whose mother had terminal cancer but she would have had to live another ten to fifteen years to make that the worse option. She died 6 months in and the admin let slip they didn’t think she’s last 6 weeks. But they still pressured him to sell the fucken house. The nurses there were thankfully decent but the admin were about one small step lesser evil than child traffickers.
