The music industry has as always been corrupt. I lived in Auburn, NY for a while and became friends with Eric Adams of Manowar. Eric (real name Louie) said he should have never become a musician- all the money is in being an entertainment lawyer.

Incredible that Eric Adams is 71 years old and can still sing like he does.

So, I've seen that video you posted before and decided to watch it again because it's pretty amazing......

However, still can't understand why NOT ONE person in the crowd moves even a miniscule amount.  It's like they're all frozen.

I noticed that too.  There're house wives and children in the background sitting there with blank looks in their faces...weird.

I know! He is in great shape too- works out regularly, is an avid hunter, and even sings in the local church choir. An all around nice guy.

Crue didn’t become millionaires till GGG
Dixie Chicks had sold 16 million albums plus extensive touring n they each had less than a million in their accounts
Def Leppard’s Pyromania sold 4 million off the bat and after the tour was finished they still owed the record company millions

For quite some time now most of the money made comes from touring

Record companies have always been evil

Hall and Oates rock.

Amusing story behind the song Man Eater.

Oh-oh, here she comes
Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up
Oh-oh, here she comes
She's a man-eater
Oh-oh, here she comes
Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up
Oh-oh, here she comes
She's a man-eater, oh-oh

The industry also pays for a lot of flops.

People make it sound like all these guys are signing and automatically selling 3 million albums a year. The majority of signed musicians sell less than 1 million records each.

Even the supposed greats, end up having albums that struggle to break the 100,000 copies mark.

It's also worth noting that a lot of these bands piss away insane volumes of money recording albums. Def Leopard spent forever making their albums and it obviously rose the costs of these albums dramatically.

There's no reason you can't record a great album in two weeks. Lots of these sob stories are musicians who fail to plan out their albums before they make them.

The modern music industry exists to brainwash and demoralize people. Just like the Holywood. The mainstream "artists" are carefully selected and turned into what the people pulling the strings want. It's not about the talent, it's about sending the message out there. Then they push the song on all stations untill people accept it. Nothing is left to chance. Nothing. All fake and planned to the smallest detail.

Well the good genres died. Metall and rock.

Then even pop music was better. Today most stuff sounds the same, background noise. Nothing innovative. That or n*g*er music. Garbage..
There is still very good music being produced today you just have to seek it out more than in the past.

Agreed.  I am an enthusiast of Real Jazz, Traditional Pop Vocals as well as the music of the 40s through 1990.  I despise cRap and Shit-sHop.  The whole "we be rhymin' " BS sickens me.  Buncha fro-babies with zero talent and a fugly wardrobe.  Does that make me a
"RACISS"?

I am human and people that foist BS hatred for whites Whites, Police, Asians Heterosexuals, Homosexuals can all drop dead.  It is beginning to come to light just how fuqued up these Negroes and Wegroes are and what the sick perverted crap they will do to "make it".  Men and women.  It is has long been this way in the movie and music sindustries but now people are hearing about it.

I hope they all kill each other.

I remember watching a short documentary on the record industry where they mentioned that singer Jackie Wilson was constantly ripped off and also never received and royalties from his hit records and died penniless.

Now people pay $400 for a lousy seat to see the current pop star lip synch to musicians pretending to play to the track playing. Too much music is made with computers and engineers. The lip synch tech is so sophisticated now that mixes the live voice with the recorded one. Remember when a band or a singer could actually perform with no tricks or deception?

Raising the drinking age to 21 killed the bar business and the live band opportunities along with it.

Better off watching it free online. I wouldn't pay $400 to see anyone.

I read people payed 900$ to watch Taylor Swift. Audience 90% female. Kind of telling what women waste money on and why men are better at saving/having assets.

I remember when tons of musicians became one with their instruments.....true masters of their instruments....now not many can even play chopsticks on a piano with all the electronic BS they have now.

Bunch of no talent flash in the pans.....the music I grew up with is timeless and will last forever.
