Saw my first bodybuilding contest on a dial TV in 1985/86.
Did my first "workouts" with soup cans and a "ghetto blaster" radio (upright rows and overhead tricep ext) in 1992
Got my first plastic/cement weight set & did my first "real" workout Jan '96.
Got certified the first time in 2000, still in H.S. First legit, paying client a week later. (& Had accumulated 6 stacks of FLEX, Muscle & Fitness, Ironman, MM2K.. and a couple issues of Pump each 2ft high, stacked in my closet)
That's 39yrs of being aware and following "weightlifting", and 28yrs "working out" myself, and 24yrs of training others professionally.
Today on Instagram I see some girl talking about how great the "Larsen press" is, while demonstrating the typical V-Spine arch that female powerlifters do when they bench press.
So...... What tf is a "Larsen press"? & Why am I just hearing about it now?
