I don't know what to think about statins. They lowered the cholesterol levels so low that way over half the populations should be on statins. I can't say for certain but it was something like 260 was okay. Now it's under 200 I believe. They have children on statins.
Two types of heart attacks. One is clogs and the other electrical. A huge percentage of clogs are people that have low cholesterol so that begs to ask plenty of questions.
I think the best thing you can do is to be lean and do have a good VO2. VO2 as in being in good cardio vascular fitness. Heart attacks are the number one killer of man in the US.

Unfortunately being lean and having good aerobic capacity means little as far as clogged arteries.
Plenty of lean and aerobic fit people have heart attacks.
Clogged arteries are caused by inflammation and poor insulin sensitivity.
Inflammation and insulin resistance is caused by eating lots of carbs, sugar and inflammatory foods like seed oils and highly processed foods.
