It is with SAD voice I report the Danish Giant @k.berner81 has passed away 😢. @k.berner81 was on prep and was supposed to compete at this CHICAGO PRO . I meet @k.berner81 several times ( as I saw him turn pro ) and I highly enjoyed his personality and company. He was a Man who LOVED bodybuilding. He passed away 2 days ago at ONLY 43 . Condolences to his family and friends. This was extremely SAD . The Danish giant has passed away , RIP

Guy was #340 offseason, and was shooting for #285-290 on stage, and had been in that range for years. It's unsustainable after a certain point.

Lifting heavy weights puts a lot of stress on the body and so does cardio. Eating "right"? Lots of gym rats and pros stuff themselves with food day in and day out which also puts alot of stress on the body. There is rarely anything as healthy in the fitness and bb industry as people like to think ...

It’s 100% the steroids because absolutely no one should use them. I keep telling my 86 year old uncle that testosterone WILL kill him, but he won’t listen!! He and my father lstarted this insanity 30 years ago and I guess they think just because they are lean and still active in their 80’s that it’s ok??? Watch - if my uncle doesn’t stop he will probably still be ruining his life by being active and probably will be dead by 95!!!

Is it the hgh and slin abuse or is it because they're pumping their body full of ugl gear.

Even in my heavy roid era, we still had paki testoviron and sustanon + Thai dbol, winny and turk anadrol. Nowadays they all seem gone from the market.

I think it's just age, weight, and needing to stay lean all year for social media.

43 years old was ancient in bodybuilding years ago, now there are guys winning the regular Olympia at that age. Everyone is 50-100lbs heavier than most old pros. And then they have to be in great shape year round for Instagram, Youtube, etc.... Most can't allow themselves a off/slow season.

If it was a heart attack, it could not have come as a surprise. Aged over 40, excessive bodyweight, lifting too heavy, perhaps smoking and / or cocaine use, and steroids affect the heart in the first cycle.
Add those all up and it can be a deadly combination.

Lifting too heavy is risky, better to start lifting lighter weights from a certain age:

Places like Denmark are probably  hard to obtain legit AS.
You use some Chinese knock off with tons of dirt in it and you’ll pay the price.
Evan Centopani has said if he did not have real pharma stuff he would not  continue in BB.And that is why he quit.
To me that is one of the reasons decades ago guys could get their hands on the real stuff compare to nowadays where most of the underground shit was cooked by homeless crack heads under the bridge.
