@ 0:34 you see exactly what I mentioned on another post, a high grip on the collar.
This is the forerunner of Aiki budo, Aikido
I learned the Aiki budo techniques which were very close to Daito Ryu Aki jutsu.

It's all a Jiu-ish Plot. ^

Why don't BJJ people train on pavement or hard floors?

well in a real fight you don´t feel the pain of rolling on a pavement or bar floor because you´re "hyped up" but my arguement is ..not many fights go to the floor because in my experience a good Boxer or puncher will win. however people do grapple when bigger than another opponent & judo or BJJ is useful.
a small wrestler or BJJ guy could be dangerous

I wrote this before but i remember a funny incident between a big Rugby Guy & a small guy we called Sticky ( because his name was Bun)
we were standing outside of our accomodation block waiting to go for an early morning run, cut a long story short sticky choked out a bigger Rugby guy who was a loud guy but not what i would call a bad guy.
was very fast & although it was sort of a fun thing he embarassed the guy
