This is an ignorant statement. You have kids in Germany do you not? A large portion of the world outside of the US doesn’t like him. When I was in Germany my waitress made fun on Trump and joked about him with another table. The view abroad is unfavorable which in my estimation makes it likely of a biased media opinion.

Consider this. After a 22-year long career in the army, my son retired. Since then, for the past 16 years, he has held a similar position in civil service on a military base, in Germany. More military personnel and veterans identify as Republican than Democrat. Seems to me my son is just as likely to lean to the right as to the left. You think the media abroad is biased based on your one-time personal experience with a waitress while in Germany. That is what is ignorant here. Plus, even people who support Trump sometimes make fun of him… he is an easy person to make fun of because he is a clown.

Here you go. Pew research poll showing his low approval abroad with 10% having confidence in him when this poll was taken. He doesn’t have a favorable view abroad, backed by research. I was commenting with my own experience. That said, I for sure believe with a negative view comes the negative bias towards him. That he’s a politician is what makes it political.

Neither my son nor son-in-law have commented that they believe this rises to the level of 'stolen valor' and both are retired career military with distinguished careers.

That's why I mentioned Richard Blumenthal.  Democrats don't care about their own committing stolen valor.
