Yeah, it’s a thing at many gyms over here.  The hotel I normally stay at has been sold and closed for renovations.  So I had to stay at the other one next to it.   Not a bad hotel at all. But where the old one had a very good gym and weight area, this one is a “fitness center”.  And you have to wear the shorts and shirts they provide.  Everyone dresses the same except for shoes.   
It’s actually kind of common over here.  I guess I packed all my Robby Robinson cut up tank tops and Crazee Wear snake print jogging pants for nothing.

I was still hungry so I bought more meat. I ended up eating 814 grams of raw meat (28,7oz) After that I had some second thoughts if this is really the way my brothers  Feels kind of depressing for some reason I cannot really explain

I suddenly got a wild urge to exercise. I havent exercised since they asked me to wear face diapers at the gym. Doing crunches and pushups in my hotel room now. Maybe all creatine in the meat is causing a surge in anabolistic energy

Anyway calling it a night, I don't want to push it and burn out by flooding myself with cortisol and catabolism.

I’ve only seen it here and at a very few places in Singapore.   Very few.  You would probably have to seek it out.   It’s usually the “upper class” (expensive) gyms that do this.   Never worked out or went in a gym on my trips to Vietnam, China, Cambodia, gyms in Japan are practically nonexistent.
They usually operate on a 24 hour standard where you have to have a key card for access.  They don’t sell day or week passes. 

Which to an extent, I can understand.  Lots of people that work within the city come in from outside.  They arrive early mornings, work long hours, have after work eats and soju with coworkers and then head home well past dark.  Having a gym that supplies you gym clothes and amenities like free razors, combs, cologne, deodorant, pants presser, shirt straightener, sleep rooms, etc and be a huge convenience for people not walking to lug around a gym bag in the transit system.

I’ve stayed at a hotel here in the states that offered Lulu Lemon workout gear. I think there was a charge to rent it.  I seem to remember an airport that had a similar option, there was a smaller hotel style gym that you could rent workout clothes and a towel.

Were there still a lot of nuns teaching when you attended?  In 8 years I only had 4 teachers that were nuns and 1 principal.  They weren't actually that bad.  My aunts, uncles and parents when they were alive told me some horror stories about kids getting their asses whipped in front of the whole class.  LMFAO.  The worst thing I saw was in 3rd grade.  This lad named Jack was fucking around during music class and Sr. Mary Jerome made him stand up in the front of class facing us and sing solo.  He was so fucking humiliated as he was sobbing whilst singing and the rest of us were laughing like fucking hyenas.  I think an ass kicking would have been preferable.  LOL!!!!!!!!
