I vote NO to Abeles. He was almost as insufferable as Bwanks with his constant lies and self-promotion. He took a pic at my Alma mater deadlifting... something. It was a decent weight, but he claimed it was 600 which, true or not*, didn't substantiate his claim of being the "strongest person at UNC Charlotte."
*The pic we saw didn't have six el be esses on it. Just sayin'.
But back to the pitiful child. By the time he came along, I was a TA (ugh, the irony) and getting ready to start teaching full-time. I trained at the University gym a couple of times per week, and blowhard Abeles couldn't carry a couple of dozen guys' gym bags who frequented that gym. I am confident I would have taken him, and a couple of our rugby players were legit freaks. Yeah, they used test, Dianabol and everything else they could get their hands on. But they were Samoans, ate like all get-out, and they trained like powerlifters. Human walls. Stupid strong.
But not as strong as Adam! LOL 😂
If being an asshole was grounds for a ban, most of us would be on the chopping block; but then, most of us don't profess an affinity for teenaged girls aged only 16. Abeles thought that was cool, so he also said some apparently highly pervy shit that got him permanently banned.
