Watching the Olympics I've been wondering which disciplines have some sort of dedicated weight cutting/fat loss phase in their preparations.The divers all look really lean - but I don't know if this is just for aesthetics or for performance.The gymnasts all look lean. Do they actively lose fat before a comp or is it just a by product of their training?Most of the judoka look to be very lean - I guess they cut weight like a wrestler would.Does anyone have any ideas about this?
How can you tell the judoka look lean?
I’m guessing any activity that has weight classes: wrestling, weightlifting, etc?Cyclists and long distance runners cut weight for efficiency.
