IIRC he was using that original synthetic GH that was one amino short (or long) which triggered an auto-immune response in some people - in his case leukaemia

Truth is probably that no one knows if it was triggered by drugs or just genes, as is usually the case with things like this. I remember very well an interview with Dennis after the leukemia where he said he was doing GH again and he thought the leukemia wasn't related to the GH. Some blamed Anadrol too lol.
