In the time that Sapiens and Neanderthals overlapped,  it's likely that Sapiens wiped out Neanderthals but it is also likely that there were instances where they mated.

I used 23&Me several years ago.  I had 0% Neanderthal then, but now it's nearly 2%. 

My sub-Saharan Africa breakdown expanded to more areas.

It changes over time with the addition of many more samples.

Now, on Ancestry, it's off.  My wife has a son from her first marriage and a daughter with me.  Ancestry classified my step-son and daughter as first cousins.

It’s funny you mentioned Ancestry. They were bought out by Blackstone in 2020. With all of this diversity crap going on make me think our families aren’t being manipulated as well.
