Have you recently eaten actual shit, licked a prostitute's ass, or swam in filthy seas? Possibly all 3? Get checked for a Helicobacter pylori bacterial infection. I had it and it gave me all those symptoms. Apparently, around 40% of people in the UK have it, many without knowing. Similar percentage in the US.

go on....which one did you do?

I'll confess to 2 out of the 3, lol. I caught cholera not long after it, which means I definitely ate shit at some point. Despite the worst diarrhea imaginable, I still didn't manage to 'fall out of a chair and twist my knees' like someone we know. Immodium and an IV and I was back to work.

Pretty much everyone has gut problems as they age. Just one more reason why getting old sucks.

Think you may be right. Considering trying amylase, lipase and protease myself to see if there's any changes. I do get bloat, sometimes, but I'm very blasé about what I eat since I've never been a sweet tooth, and that's kind of made me less concerned about my diet in general.

I'm pretty sure on here many years ago when I was lurking there was a post about a tablet or supplement you can take which neutralises the smell of your farts. Not being funny, but I'd be less bothered about them if they didn't stink that much. I probably imagined that post in a dream when on some of those wild sleeping tablets, and such a thing doesn't exist.

I can't say these are causing the bloat but they are not good for you to eat.

Also, artificial sweeteners and sugar alcohols (erythritol for example) are known to cause gut issues.  Check to see if any foods you eat contain them.

Didn't know sweeteners did that. Can drink tea and coffee without but have used them in the past. I still think that not eating sugar products like dessert, chocolate or even fruit except maybe once in a blue moon is what has kept my skin young.

Have any of you considered gorging on spaghettio's ?

A lot of bodybuilders do this to get their gut health in check prior to a show.

A 4 strain probiotic works well for me.

Also, using lactose free milk and cutting out whey protein.

Had this screenshot in my phone from a YouTube vid either about leaky gut or candida. I currently take 2 of the 3. A lacto/bifido blend and saccharomyces boulardii. I was getting candida very easily, so I cut out white rice, other starches and wheat

To be honest, bud, you should come join us. You'd be perfect. This life always needs someone bilingual, who has tons of natural charm, and also fearless. Why didn't you ever look into a travelling career when you were younger?
