I'm glad you're feeling better, Prime. Back to your usual testy self.
Anyone who has heard of Paxlovid is a hypochondriac?
LOL! Why do some folks have a habit of twisting what others post? I believe what I wrote referenced people checking on medications they never heard about and have not yet been prescribed. My question was who does that, besides medical professionals or people obsessed with the side effects of never needed and unprescribed to them medications? By all means before asking for a prescription for any medication you have no experience with, read everything you can about it and any possible side effects, effectiveness, and interactions with meds you are currently on.
The sequence of my first experience with Paxlovid was this. I tested positive for COVID, I looked up possible treatments and read about Paxlovid, its use, benefits, and any possible negative side effects. Then I asked my doctor about it, and they prescribed it with an exception, which was for me to discontinue Simvastatin while on Paxlovid.
Your comment seemed to suggest I should have already known about Paxlovid. My answer was, in effect, why would I? My reference to hypochondria was in jest.
Am I testy? Guess I need to work on this, huh? The funny thing is that since the age of 14 when I had mumps, I have only had one functioning testicle (true)... so just how 'testy' can I possibly be? BTW, had Booty fixed me some homemade chicken noodle soup with bone broth when I caught the mumps, it might have saved my right testicle. LOL! Where was Booty when I needed her?
