  This would be all fine and dandy, Hulky, if it weren't for one thing: there is an official bodybuilding judging criteria to consider, and Dorian is better according to that criteria.

  Also, the opinion of these people are irrelevant, because most of the people polled are 16 year-old kids who were 7 years old the last time Dorian won a Sandow, so it's not fair to match Dorian vs Ronnie in polls due to the celebrity factor. As one would say "out of sight, out of mind". Most of these kids have no idea of the greatness that was Dorian Yates, and some of them don't even know that he exists.

Haha this is just it. Great though Yates was, and huge in his time, he couldn't stand next to Ronnie '03 and look anything other than dwarfed.

  Well, Dorian is defeating Coleman flat out in symmetry, evident by his bigger calves and smaller glutes. As for muscularity, it is match: Ronnie has the greater absolute size, but Dorian's back is harder and more derfined. So don't fool yourself for a minute that Dorian wouldn't be able to defeat the 2003 Coleman, because he had several things on him except puffy size.

  I wonder what Matt C would say about this comparison. According to him, he believes that great taper  from the frontis the most important aspect of bodybuilding. He also believes that the 2003 Coleman overwhelms Dorian both in size and taper. And yet, here we have a comparison clearly demonstrating that Dorian has the superior taper both while standind relaxed from the front as well as in the abs-and-thighs. Hypocrite, anyone? He uses taper as one of the reasons why he believes why Ronnie is better, but this is clearly not true when it comes to the 2003 Coleman. The problem is that the 1998/9 versions of Coleman have beter taper, but don't overwhelm Dorian for size. So he tried to argue that the 2003 Ronnie has both greater and size and tape. As is clearly evident, Ronnie only has better taper when he is lighter.

  One of the things that I find the most bizarre about this thread is why Hulkster chose to defend the 1999 version of Coleman. The reasons for this is that the 1999 Ronnie has no tangible advantage over Dorian. Hulkster's argument always boils to superior "shape and detail". It's always the same thing: "shape and detail". This is completely arbitrary and is not, in any way, shape or form, and argument for Coleman defeating Dorian. Shape is subjective, and while Ronnie has more details to his muscles, Dorian's are much harder-looking. I personally do think that Ronnie has better shape, but the bottom line is the 1995 Dorian soundly defeats Ronnie in muscularity&symmetry, and that's what really counts. Now, if Hulkster had chosen to defend the 2003 version of Ronnie, then I would have no problem with it because the 2003 Coleman has a tangible advantage over Dorian: his size. Dorian defeats the 2003 Coleman in symmetry, but as far as muscularity goes, and even though Dorian's muscles are much harder, I think the 2003 Coleman would at least tie or defeat Dorian.
