the problem with your retarded analogy is that the majority of the bodybuilding community are just as qualified and knowledgable in assessing phyiques as the judges are.

there nothing special about the judging panel. They don't have a third eye or a 6th sense or anything..

they just happen to sit on a panel.

you or I could do it just as well.

  My analogy is perfect because what most people look for is different from what the judges look for. The evidence? If it were for the polls, then Dorian would never have become Mr.Olympia - considering that most believe that Shawn and Flex should have defeated Dorian. Since what the judges decided in real life is different from what the overwhelming majority of people decided on piolls, then ergo, polls are not adequate to determine what would happen when it comes to Dorian vs Ronnie because the majority's opinion on polls is inconsistent with that of the judges.

otherwise, you can cast votes while forgetting how good people's particular bodyparts or physique really were.

or, you can do the opposite: remember someone has having an amazing back for example, but in reality, when you compare it to say a ronnie coleman or a dorian yates, that amazing back becomes mediocre.

A poll has to be conducted properly or not at all.

Iceman's many polls were properly done, with excellent and fair comparison shots with both dorian and ronnie.
